ARCOSTRETCHER™ ROLLS

Arcostretcher™ rolls remove wrinkles and flatten fabric as it is pulled through the range. Unlike bow rolls, these unique cylindrical rolls widen the fabric web without permanent distortion to the fabric web. When the fabric contacts the roller, the web applies pressure to the lands. Pre-determination of correct groove profile and compound selection yield web minimal tension resulting in fabric flattening action which removes wrinkles.

Applications include installations on wide pretreatment ranges processing light weight fabrics (sheeting and shirting), light, medium and heavy weight elastomeric fabrics, and any wet application where wrinkles are critical to the down stream process. Arcostretcher™ rolls are normally positioned after the squeeze roll assembly.

Reduction or elimination of problematic wrinkles allow higher production speeds, improved quality and reduced maintenance and production costs.
